Culvert Installation & Gabion Retaining Structure

Project Overview

This project involved the construction of a reinforced culvert crossing with gabion retaining walls, designed to manage water flow while providing a stable access route across the site.

The works required excavation, structural groundworks, drainage installation, and precise placement of gabion baskets to ensure long-term durability in a wet environment.

🔹 Scope of Works

  • Excavation and preparation of formation level

  • Installation of large diameter culvert pipe

  • Construction of gabion retaining walls

  • Placement and tying of gabion baskets with stone fill

  • Ground stabilisation and backfilling

  • Formation of access route and surface finish
